Introduction

Location of the Watershed

Salt Creek Watershed is located in Southeastern Nebraska.  It is a part of a larger watershed called the Lower Platte South Watershed. 

Major cities and towns included in watershed are Lincoln, Waverly, Wahoo, Raymond, Ceresco, Hickman, Denton, and Ashland.

Salt Creek Watershed covers roughly 2016 square miles and the longest segment of the creek covers roughly 50 miles.
