Nebraska...Our Towns

The Miller Public Schools, erected 1893. When the town of Armada found itself on the wrong side of the river, it moved to the other side and changed its name to "Miller" for one of the men who helped bring the Kearney & Black Hills Railway up the Wood River Valley through Buffalo County. The Miller School District is now part of the S.E.M. consolidated school that includes Sumner and Eddyville in neighboring Dawson County.
